Most people have a nearly religious belief in medical research. Nevertheless, a growing number of scientists question the efficiency of the animal model for healing human diseases. In this photo I wanted to convey the absurdity of using in modern days so primitive means, like a mouse. In addition, the disproportion between the sizes of the man and of the pill, and that of the mouse, suits perfectly the message of a mismatch between aims and means of animal-based methods in medical research.
